PRESIDENT (2019 - 2026)

 

Chatham House is an independent, London-based policy institute that helps governments and societies analyze global challenges and foster debate through rigorous research and its famous Chatham House Rule of confidentiality.

Helen Clark served as President of Chatham House between 2021 and 2026. She originally entered the role to succeed Sir John Major and joined Baroness Eliza Manningham-Buller and Lord Darling as one of the Institute’s three serving presidents. In 2025, she was joined by Baroness May of Maidenhead and Baroness Valerie Amos.
