PATRON

The Aspen Institute New Zealand is an independent, non-partisan, not-for-profit organisation founded in 2018 by Christine Maiden Sharp. Helen Clark serves as Co-Patron, alongside Sir Donald McKinnon, bringing significant national and international leadership experience to the Institute. Part of the Aspen Institute’s global network, the organisation promotes values-based leadership and provides a trusted space for open, respectful dialogue across political, social, and economic divides, with the aim of helping address the key challenges facing New Zealand and the wider region.
