Helen Clark named new Chair of the Gavi Board

Helen Clark has been appointed as Chair of the Board of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.

Gavi’s mission is to expand access to essential vaccinations for children worldwide, with a focus on equity in immunisation. Established 25 years ago, Gavi has supported the vaccination of 1.2 billion children in 78 developing countries and has contributed to the prevention of an estimated 20.6 million future deaths.
